    Dear Folks,

Are Dunlop 218s crap, or do I just have a bad set? Unless the weather is
hot and dry these tires give no feedback. Riding these tires on cold roads
or in cold weather feels like the Bridgestone Battleaxe BT56s on my old
Suzuki Bandit felt in the rain. And in the rain, I these tires make me feel
like I'm disconnected from the road.

I've done a few MSF style emergency stops in the rain to test them, and they
stop surprisingly well, but there's just no feedback. Now that I've
experienced it more than a couple of times (If I don't ride in the rain I
don't get to ride) I have to say the feeling is eerie.

Am I whining up the wrong flagpole here, or has anyone else experienced
    this?
