Got a tomtom 930 that I am gonna use on the bike too, got the cradle &
everything, but i want the bit that goes onto the top of the steering head
    on the K12.

Any ideas where i can get one that isnt £50?

If it's only the ball mount you need then look up RAM-B-342U
and see if it's what you're looking for.

They're about £15 and should do what you want. I've got one here that
you can have for £10 if you want it but they're so cheap you may as
well just google for a supplier and order one.

Have you checked that it's the right one for your bike?

It's small enough to post in a padded envelope at minimal cost so
there's no point doing the 6 weeks to U/R it shit (unless someone's
going from Bedford to your area very soon) but make sure it's the
right one before I waste my time posting it.

Just been to look, i dont think it is, mine screws into the headstock top
nut on an inside screw thread & hasn't got that 'bit' of metal on it. they
look like just a blob on the thing.

    hhmmm

Mine was £46 delivered (suspect could get cheaper elsewhere but it's a
nice piece of work) and I only had 2 days before I *had* to have it.

Does BMW offer anything for this?

Nige still has first shout on it but failing that I'll see if it'll be
ok on Adies R1 and if it is then you've got it.

I'm not giving you a massive bargain btw but if you save a couple of
quid and I get a couple of pints for something I'll not use then
    that's cool.

You could make one surely? Rubber bung with a threaded insert
in the yoke stem and a
stud fitted to the ram ball and off you go.
Probably get a shag in Bradford with the £30 change.

He's gone remarkably quiet so I'll have a look to see if it fits when
I go home at the weekend. Email me your home address and if it fits
I'll get it posted asap. We can sort out payment whenever.
