If it's only the ball mount you need then look up RAM-B-342U and see if it's what you're looking for. They're about £15 and should do what you want. I've got one here that you can have for £10 if you want it but they're so cheap you may as well just google for a supplier and order one.
Have you checked that it's the right one for your bike? It's small enough to post in a padded envelope at minimal cost so there's no point doing the 6 weeks to U/R it shit (unless someone's going from Bedford to your area very soon) but make sure it's the right one before I waste my time posting it.

Mine was £46 delivered (suspect could get cheaper elsewhere but it's a nice piece of work) and I only had 2 days before I *had* to have it. Does BMW offer anything for this?
Nige still has first shout on it but failing that I'll see if it'll be ok on Adies R1 and if it is then you've got it. I'm not giving you a massive bargain btw but if you save a couple of quid and I get a couple of pints for something I'll not use then that's cool.
You could make one surely? Rubber bung with a threaded insert in the yoke stem and a stud fitted to the ram ball and off you go. Probably get a shag in Bradford with the £30 change. Steve
