    Well, as a newbie with a day off, check forecast: " 0% chance of
    precipitation".

    So off I went, visited the old training school, rode round a bit, then;
    SPLOSH.
    It hammerd down for about an hour, poor visibility, fogging visor (it says
    anti fog),
    and generally a soggy morning.

    Oh well, it's all experience, but I always thought rain WAS precipitation!
    Silly me.

    I was planning to ride Sunday in all that lovely sunshine, but: Saturday
    night entertainment caled for a quiet Sunday!

    What was that loud thumping noise Sunday morning, just a small spider on the
    ceiling probably.
