    Not with me on board it doesn't! Well I sincerely hop not anyway :)

    Hard to tell at the moment as the speedo is still dead, mind you the rev
    counter is working now which is progress!

    That's Suzuki's advertised top speed for the bike.

    You can apparently see 180+ on the speedo.
    Getting there. Check the wire going into the speedo pickup on the
    front sprocket. It sometimes comes loose or gets a bit of water in
    which stops it registering.

    It's my understanding that people doing slower speeds will over exaggerate
    anything that comes flying past them, even people that are experienced at
    going higher speeds seem to often guess wrong.

    "Over 100mph" is a favourite response because they have no idea what the
    actual speed was and it sounds a lot better than "80mph".
