Racing: Castle Combe, Sat/Sun 28th/29th July

I'll be racing at Castle Combe this weekend, Sat & Sun the
28th & 29th July, in the Ducati Desmo Due championships on
bike #111. Timetable is roughly:

Saturday 28th July
10.30 Untimed Practice (10 mins)
12.15 Qualifying (10 mins)
15.00 Race 1 (7 laps)

Sunday 29th July
10.00 Practice (10 mins)
15.00 Race 2 (7 laps)

I've got a few spare tickets if anyone wants to come along
and watch. You might even get a cuppa in the paddock if
you come and say hello.

So far it's DNF, DNS, 9th, 8th, so not too bad really.

I found some racing mojo at Assen and have been applying
it since (8th and 6th at Oulton) so looking for some
strong finishes at Castle Combe ... if it's not
underwater by then!

 

I'd like to come, had a good time a Mallory Park last week.
to make it more enjoyable I'd rather get there on 2 wheels rather
than 4. Anyone know of a place that will rent a bike for a day or
weekend?

Depends where you are based at the moment but there are a few in

thanks, i tried searching using "rental" instead of "hire" and
wasn't finding anything. London is a bit of a pain (I'm in Cambridge)
as I would need to drive/park and/or take the train, then get the bike
drive out/back then return back to cambrige. Adds a bunch to the
cost/time of the trip and I'm not overly keen to ride in London anyway.
so I'll kee loooking (seems there is someone in Ketterring but they
don;t have a website so I'll ring them tomorrow.

I've just read in the local paper that 'glamour model' Jodie Marsh will
be just around the corner at Marshfield for the DEP Motocross
championship that weekend. She will be looking for a husband for her MTV
show "Totally Jodie Marsh - Who Will Take Her Up The Aisle"

Surely a typo.

I've had worse, but I wouldn't choose her if there were a decent
alternative. I rather suspect she might have a decent pair of tits if
only she'd let them be instead of squashing them together all the
time. And her mouth, yukk.
