Racing a Z1R-II

I wants to do this. In 2005.

Deciding that my "I'll restore it and it'll be my main bike" arguement to
myself for keeping the big old zed was wearing a bit thin (I can't really
see myself wanting to go back in handling, braking, and horsepower) I've
decided that the thing to do, is going to be to race it.

From what I can gather through much googling, it fits into the 5th forgotten
era, but that's about all I've got.

Who do I turn to in order to get the necessary info so I can give the bike a
purpose, and convince myself that I really do need to keep it. (And no, I'm
not going to sell it, so bugger off with your tree-fiddy and a
kick-in-a-nutz.)

Hope you have lots of $$ and spare parts...

One thing people in some of them classes are very anal about things
being "100%"
