    Hi all...

    race for life...

Please, if you can, take part, or sponsor someone who does. Marina
sadly passed away on the 18/3/2010 from cancer. Please become
involved. support your wife, girlfriend, daughter, sister, niece...

Breast cancer is a major killer. I wouldnt want any of you to have to
walk where I have walked so recently. Please find it within youself to
    support this cause...

So far I've sponsored three of my female friends who are taking part,
one of whom - my ex-girlfriend Julie - lost her mum [1] to breast
    cancer about 10 years ago.

Agreed, it's a good cause, which is why Katie is doing it this year.

If anyone does want to add their support to her run, then email me for
    the just giving page.

I looked at doing the male equivalent, but it appears to be for arse
cancer, which doesn't have the same appeal...

Well, that's easy for a rider like you to say but try telling it to Dennis
    Hopper.

L works for Cancer Research analysing the results of drug trials, mainly
on breast cancer. They're expected to take part in some capacity every
    year.

We[1] also have several large-scale efforts organised here in Basel,
and on the other sites worldwide.

[1] World #1 in oncology treatments, with notable successes in recent
years against Breats Cancer(s). Sometimes it's nice to think that just
'doing your job' is actively making a difference to the world. I'm
    sure L would agree.

I'm in the process of arranging my 3rd charity gig for Cancer Research UK
(on behalf of Christies Hospital). Hopefully, when all the money is
counted, in excess of 3 grand will have been raised. Already at 2.5, but
this next gig is quite small, so it' not going to draw a fortune.

Either way, have a successful ride.
