I just switched from Metzeler Sportec M1 street rubber to Rennsport
    RS1/RS2 race compound. I am running this on a 75hp 1995 CBR600 F3 so
it's not too hard on the tires. After 2 track days I have not
experienced any slides and the tread is still plenty.

Also, the tires are not exhibiting any signs of bluing unlike the M1s
which would turn completely BLUE after just a single track day. So, I
am wondering.. would these Rennsports be good for another track day?

As for my pace, I am running about 15 seconds off the circuit record,
so not fast...but not too slow either.

  2. My guess is that the tires will be good for another track day. Don't know
the word in english but when the rear tire get rifts, typically in the
section where the tire work at hard accelleration out of turns is when it
gets slippery. Without those you will usually have an ok tire untill you
reach the wear-patches. What makes the tire gradually worse is that it wear
uneven. This will influence the handelig and grip somewhat.
