It's all got a little convoluted now. It used to be if you wanted to show
someone something, you found the easist way or (as I did) didn't bother.
Once I'd got a flickr account, it was easy so I didn't need to upload a raft
of crap to FB that didn't interest anyone. A link on the Usenet groups was
(and still is for the most part) plenty good enough. Now it's "click here,
click there, sign up here or **** off". I usually **** off.
I'm in the same class :)

I suppose "I'm destitute because of a run of bad luck speculating on the

Best way to learn, I'm sure it'll keep Darcy occupied for a day or two.

I don't *do* gambling of any nature really, I'm intruiged by ***EX because I
met someone who isn't a Bookie's best friend but who does make a healthy
    living out of it.

I expect he is in fact the "House", which is to say makes a packet out of
other peoples' stupid notion that they can win against the House. Which
    isn't gambling at all.

Suffice to say that the one person I know who dabbles in this is purely
into the thrill of the deal.

The good part, William, is that, no matter whether our clients make
money or lose money, Duke & Duke get the commissions.
    Mortimer Duke:
Well? What do you think, Valentine?
    Billy Ray:
Sounds to me like you guys a couple of bookies.
    Randolph Duke:
    I told you he'd understand.
