R1 electrical fault

    Can't find my manual, rev counter indicates 7,000 drops to zero does this
    every 10 secs, could someone look up their manual and tell me what fault
    this is indicating, heap o junks not charging so I guess the it'll be
    something to do with that. cheers.

  2. Have you taken the tank off for any reason? If so there's a connector
    underneath for the fuel level. IIRC not reconnecting this gives the
    symptoms you describe.

    Never had the tank off until today, I know the connection you mean, all in
    order, alternator connection also ok, started to snow so never got a chance
    check alternator output.

    This means your EXUP valve is sticking, but hasn't fucked the servo yet....

    Get the EXUP valve stripped and greased pronto
