    Road legal? Yeah, as if.

Fitted one to the 9R a couple of days ago and it is definitely a fair
bit louder and throatier, and I don't really think it would pass BS
testing. I don't care because it's not offensive and it has the proper
markings on it to keep the law from getting too excited.

Where did you buy? I'm thinking of one for the ZRX along with a dyno
    set-up.

I got it used from a bloke on a 9R forum. He'd just sold a nearly new
Ohlins shock for my model too, the bugger.

He still has a nearly new full Akrapovic titanium system with race can
and a legal carbon can for sale - 400 quid.

I had them on the CBR and GSXR - they're great. Made a huge difference to
the CBR, which sounded like a set of hair clippers with the standard can on.
Less of a difference with the GSXR though, which was already reasonably
    throaty with the stock can.

You heard mine on the B12 at last year's EOSM. I like it.

I heard a fair few bikes at EOSM, I can't remember the sound of any of
them, apart from Rog's SOBB thingy tbh.

Are they still in business? Their website seems to have disappeared...

    That's not quill's web site - that's a site that sells quill's cans.

They used to have a website that explained all their products etc etc

I thought JB made them, Quill is just their brand name. ICBW.

  15. But it's not like you to go all bitchy in reply. Those temporary stroke
things must be getting to you or else it's old age.

I hate text speak, and I didn't realise I was texting my own cousin, not

My mistake then - they used to have one at www.quill-racing.com

    That doesn't exist anymore.
