    I must be mistaken, I thought you were living and working in the UK.

    Still, on the bright side, at least you've disqualified yourself from
    commenting on any aspect of UK law, so it's not all bad.

  6. That's not true. There are a number of tax treaties which prevent
    this - the one with the U.S., for starers.

    Perhaps you are referring to Double Taxation Treaties. If however you are
    not being taxed in another jurisdiction HMR&C consider you fair game if they
    can pin citizenship on you.
