  3. Cheers to you and all the rest who replied. I'll be there first
thing in the morning. It'll make things marginally easier. I dodged
storms tonight to get the calipers back on Black Kat and the lines
installed (fully for the rear, partly at the front). Bloody rear brake
won't bleed some air _somewhere_, I'm gonna have to gently unlax some
banjo bolts and do 'em up again, I fear. Have to get the fronts working
at least marginally in the morning so I can move her clear of the gateway
to allow another machine in tomorrow night[1]. Then it's trying to get her
started on stale petrol so I can actually book in a new MoT test.

[1] Interesting fact: I can get to TOG's place for just £1.60 in bus fares.

If you can, then remove the caliper from the mounting, and get it as
close to vertical above the master cylinder as you can. Put something of
an appropriate thickness between the pads. *Then* bleed the fucking
    thing.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. What have you bought?

Oh great! You're about to single-handedly create a black hole that'll
give the whole world a terminal blowjob, and you're "distracted". This
    does not make me happy.

  8. You were right, smooth as silk. Can't have taken much more
than two minutes at the wicket. Now, back to chasing air bubbles...
