Quick release wheels?

I'm doing a 70 mile (M25/M4) commute each day, and would like to have
some stickier tyres for weekend hooning, but not have them squared off
    quickly through excessive motorway miles.

Is there a quick release gadget available that helps with swapping
wheels, or does it just get easier with practise?

On the other hand, would it work out just as cheap to swap the
stickier tyres more frequently instead of maintaining two sets of
    wheels?

If you go dowm the quick release route, remember to take them off when you
leave it outside the shops or someone might nick them.

what tyres are you using now?

the font may be able to come up with a compromise tyre that you have not
    considered

  5. Stick a GTS1000 front end onto a SOR80RT mono et voila! Ultimate hoon
    commuter.

ITIKWYM - more consistent riding (less extreme acceleration and
braking) with less rubber being forced onto tarmac..
I like this idea and might well give it a go if I can get a cheap (but
round) wheel from a breakers. I'll be waiting a bit though as I've
just had funds authorisation for a bike upgrade from SWMBO.

  7. wusses. Not totalling both wheels is "not trying hard enough".

    And finally ...

'S bad when you have to wait this long for a Doctor to come by.
'Spose there'll be a right old rush of 'em now ...
