I would suggest that it is probably in your cache, and the original has been
'pulled'. Either that or they have a load-balanaced cluster of servers and
we're hitting different servers.

 

It is now gone - they have cut the bottom off the picture.

Most ISPs run web caches which store images requested by users. When you
request an image from the web, if it's been requested recently by anyone
else using the same ISP, chances are you'll be sent the copy that was
retrieved earlier, and that they're holding locally, rather than getting the
file from the 'real' webserver again. Web caches help dramatically reduce
bandwidth usage, as a lot of 'popular' files can be served without having to
leave the ISP's network.

What this means in effect is that you're not necessarily seeing the 'live'
image.
