Question about Main Jet

Howdy all, still have postie and it's definitely time for a top-end rebuild.
Am looking at having the work done by Main Jet Motorcycles in Thomastown,
Melbourne.
Anyone heard of them?

Any advice on rough costs for what a top end rebuild will cost, in parts and
labour?

Reccomend Redwing and die, but anywhere else people would be happy to take
their bikes for a rebuild?

a worthwhile start to you mechanical introduction

 

I'd be more inclined to do it yourself. When I was in year 10 with a small
amount of help from my teacher I took the head off one of these things and
lapped the valves in, changed the cams etc. It was a piece of piss, and
started first go when it was back together. They're about as simple as it
gets. Grab a manual (Haynes or Clymer etc) if you can and just do it
yourself, an afternoon of tinkering and you'll be sorted.
