Qatar doing an Assen...

    Just a heads up folks.. for those of you that don't already realise it, the
    MotoGP round in Qatar starts Thursday, with the main races on Saturday.. so
    reprogramme those VCR's if you need to..

    I believe Assen does a Saturday race out of tradition. I assume that Qatar
    is doing a Saturday race due to, what? Religion? Allah forbids bikes above
    50cc's to race on Sundays? anyone confirm?

    Dunno about the reason for Qatar, but Assen have the race on Saturday
    for reason of religion.
