Well of course a Papist zealot like him would want to remove the CofE
from doing stuff. I doubt it's for the best of reasons, though.

Eh now to be precise there were very few American jews when this kicked
off, in fact the USA was as anti semitic as it was anti negro.

Run many oil companies into the ground, have you? Or football teams?

Mr Bush has exactly the same talent to be successful as Mr Charles
    Windsor.

Of course not - it seemed as good a point to start from as any. Norman
invasion being the last succesful one and all that.

Indeed it can - but then I haven't suggested that we are a proper democracy
    either.

Well, the "Jewish"[1] lobby is one of the most influential in Washington.

What if the traitor already holds office?

  12. Precisely - and not forgetting the huge financial and political capital
that has gone his way by simply being part of that family. He has been
bought out of several financial disasters by "benefactors" who were
simply hedging their bets about future events and what position dear old
    Dubya might reach.

This might contain the nub of it.
The administrations might have their point of view, but who's to
say the 'enemy' want to adopt the West's criteria?

  16. Prolly substituted coal-fired technology to do it. I recall one of the
first American astronauts to visit a Russian orbiting body (probably
Mir) remarking on the basic control mechanisms on board. This was a guy
who'd been used to pressing nicely-made buttons to control solenoids and
actuators and was taken aback to discover the Russians just used manual
valves in many applications. A bit like a modern submariner stepping
back in time to a WW2 boat.
