Quite. It also seems to me that in recent races where this wall has been up
    that Hayden's performed better :)

Well, this seems a response against Hayden's "opening up",
coincidentally since signing for a competitor. I thought Hayden's
statements about HRC oddly opportunistic, so he shpuld not be
complaining too much about getting some fire back. And it is just from
a manager known to be over the top, Pedrosa is keeping his mouth shut
when it comes to several of Hayden's statements, which is a credit to
him, or just shows he has less personality and attitude than a lawn-
    mower.

According to this newsgroup the wall was never down: Pedrosa always
got the better parts, right? How can you use the same setup info when
you are riding a totally different bike, right?

    It's all talk.

Let Hayden back it up when he is in Ducati. I kinda doubt it, he will
find a far more established garage than in the HRc garage, I think. In
HRC, someone must have thought that all things said and done, Hayden
was the last guy to win them a title. In Ducati he will be running
against a guy that seems to have made the bike his, and the bike is
somehow magically made for him. Melandri looked like crap all year,
but come on, we know he is a decent rider, so there is something odd

    Mark N obfuscates:
It only took you 100 words to agree.

    No doubt about that.

    Re: Hayden
It will certainly be good for Hayden just from a personal day-to-day
happiness angle. Whether it will mean he gets better results
is a big question. I'm looking forward to seeing the answer.

What was I implying? That sharing setup info seems a ludicrous thought
given the fact they were riding totally different bikes? And the
latter can be seen any way you want to see it. What seems silly is to
talk about copying setup info. Puig was just busting a future
competitor's balls. For whatever reason, neither Pedrosa nor Hayden
have given HRC much success as of late, with whatever choices and
    support they were going.

"Ain't shit" is a contraction of "Ain't worth shit", so if you are
American you are worth shit; ie you are worth "some stuff". And I'm a
    Limey :D

Hayden has been the perfect gentleman when it comes to comments during this
past year. In other words, he's not made ANY comments that could be regarded
as "off". Unlike a lot of the mard arses currently in MotoGP.
Pedrosa doesn't say anything unless Puig tells him to. If he had an opinion
of his own I'd be very surprised.
Correct, Pedrosa DOES have less personality than a lawn mower.

If that's the truth (and I suspect it is) then how can Puig accuse Hayden of
using Pedrosa's data. Wouldn't be much use to him would it?

    I think "Let Pedrosa prove he's worth a light". I suspect er'll find he's
nothing more than a hyped up nowhere man.
He WAS the last guy to win them a title and it won't be Pedrosa winning them
their next one either. I reckon Dovi will piss all over Pedrosa's chips.

Time will tell if he can't make the bike work for him, but let's not jump
the gun and shoot him with it until he's actually been on the thing in
    anger.
Yeah, Melandri couldn't get on with the Duc. All bikes aren't for all riders
though, but we'll see if it was the bike or the rider next season when
Hayden AND Melandri are on different bikes than they were.

Oddly, it's never puzzled me, but why they want to advertise it IS a
    mystery.
