    Public thanks to you too. I picked the Meccano up from boss-man this
    evening.

    Gosh, but there's a lot more there than I was expecting! And there's a
    genuine Meccano clockwork motor too.

    No probs.
    Yep , when the listing mentioned some extras I thought it would just be a
    small pile of odds and ends , not a big printer box full.
    I'm sure he could have got a fair bit more if he'd listed it all separately.

    I'd still like to get an A1000 to complete my collection. The newer 4000
    series never really interested me.

    I've got a couple of 500s , a 600HD and a 1200 up in the loft

    Still got a 2000 upstairs, turned on it's side it makes a good telephone
    table

    and I have plans for it
