    Rooooooney.

(I think I can be excused as I've been chanting it for 2+ years)

what I do find astounding is that my 3 year old niece wore her nice
new england shirt to nursery today. apparently she was the last kiddie
    to get one.

Yay! 4-2. Great game, end to end stuff at times. The Croats just
    wouldn't lie down.

Slightly apprehensive about the Portugal game, though.

Girls who watch football are a good thing, IMHO.
I which case, I seem to have married one.

...."Yeah, went shopping during the footie match - it was *empty* apart from
a load of gay guys, winking & smiling at each other!"

Define sad. I get no enjoyment from the game, so why it being a
European Championship should make a difference I don't know.

Are you suggesting that suddenly I should just automatically become a
member of the sheep-like mass that turn into England football supporters
every four years, and pretend I'm finding it exciting?

That ain't going to happen, chief.

I have never seen 90 minutes of football, live, televised or otherwise.

It just leaves me cold. Actually, it leaves me feeling cold, wet and
miserable with the stinging thwack of plastic on unprotected leg.

The kind that don't get amusement from watching people run up and down a
field kicking a bag of air around.

I've been known to enjoy *playing* a game fo five a side before now,
    mind.
