So imagine what's it's like when you roll out a Snap On tool cab

Is there anyone in Bradford that celebrates Christmas?

Depends on the definition of Celebration.

Plenty of the Prawns will be out for a bit of burglary to lift the
    Christmas Presents.

Yeah my ex boss has better tools in his home workshop than in the
garage he owns! He's a proper Snap On addict.

Which is highly, highly unlikely to happen to the man in question!

  9. Nah. Not pro kit.

Sir wants the £100 pro 150-piece socket and ratchet set and the £40 10-
    piece flex-head spanner set.

I have both and they are excellent.

Last time they were giving the black pro roll-cab away with the pro
sockets, spanners and screwdrivers sets. For £250 all in.

  10. One can never have enough pro spanners. I have several items multiple
times in the same size. Always handy.

I've just lashed out on one of these

    http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=storage&item_ID=71459&
    group_ID=18012&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog

    to go with this

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/78131584@N00/1507806002/

and I still didn't have enough room so today I went to Machinemart and
bought one of these as well

    p-tool-chest/path/clarke-hd-plus-tool-chest-range

My fucking toolbox is damn near as tall as me now, and I need footstool
to stand on to get into the top tray.

I have a few of the Snap on fixed head ratchet spanners too, but only
    the 10/13/17/19mm variety.

I thought I'd buy a full set of cranked ones from Laser, as they might
have come in useful, but I've yet to use any of them. Pointless if you
have a decent range of deep sockets ...

    Harsh.

I do have a few Halfords pro tools, but i'll use anything better in
    preference that's closer to hand.

C/F this weekend, I tightened up the crankshaft bolt with my biggest
breaker bar, but I couldn't get quite the right angle for the final
push, so I had no qualms sticking my longest Snap-On 1/2" ratchet on
the bolt for a final thrutch. I had my full body weight kicking on it.
It's never going to let go. I wouldn't do that with a Halfords one,
you'd put yourself in hospital ..

You misunderstand, probably coz I was in a hurry so didn't elaborate. I
*like* Halfords Pro stuff, but firstly the two kits TOG mentioned
aren't the Pro range, & secondly anyone who's been spannering as long
as TOG will already have 90% of what's in those kits, & the reason he
hasn't got the other 10% is because he's never needed them & never
will. So pissing some money on something more specialised like the
bendy ratchet spanners would make far more sense imo.

    I have this one:

    catalogId_10151_productId_173083_langId_-1_categoryId_165572

    It's very good.
