PS - BHP converter

  1. I know there's an online one but I can't find it and the ones Google
    throws up don't give the results I was expecting.

    Last year someone pointed out that 98 PS was about 130BHP so why then
    when I put 138PS into an online form it comes back with 136BHP, some
    sort of reversed physics?

    If anyone could point me in the right direction or give us a formula
    that works?...

    I think you're thinking of the conversion of KW -> BHP. PS -
    Pferdstaerke - just means horsepower, so it should be the same as BHP.

    Because whoever told you that was wrong (or you've mis-remembered) - PS
    & BHP are virtually the same.

    That would be 98kw not 98ps.

    Here's the first conversion table that comes up on a web search:
