    This is a public safety announcement:

    When replacing a bendy brakelever, with a shiny brand-spanking new straight
    one, don't treat the new one as if it was the old one. A black line (from
    frontwheel), closely followed by a brown squirty line (not from frontwheel)
    may get deposited on the road.

    When I used the old (bendy one), I had to grip a handfull, since there is
    less leverage, where it counts, IYSWIM. The new one has more room to get a
    handfull and that's just what I did. Nearly lost it.....
