Having Followed the advice of certain denizens I have installed Protowall
but am getting repeated messages in the log file saying:

    2004/12/04 21:29:50 [<-] BLOCKED [!] - Destination is IANA - Multicast,
IANA Reserved (239.255.255.250) [protocol: IGMP / no destport]

Since IANA seems to be the naming authority issuing IP addresses, why does
my PC want to talk to them?

  4. Do a google search on multicast IP and light may dawn.. (hint - IANA
control the usage of multicast IPs)
