(Don aka Calgary, trying his Yankee best to stay on topic here wrote (quote) ‘‘I tell ya, it never ceases to amaze me the outstanding people you meet while sharing the roads on a motorcycle. So (almost)all of you Texans or anyone who might be reading this forum, August long weekend 2006 join us for food, drink, great company and some of the best riding roads in the world, and be prepared to leave with new long lasting friendships. Enjoy some old fashioned Canadian hospitality. Hey BJ, although I find your stuff a little hard to read around here I am guessing around a campfire after a few beer I would enjoy hearing a few of your stories. Book it on your calendar. I'll be setting up a web page for the event in a couple of weeks. (Don Binns) ‘‘Mr. Don, aka snowflake, by a couple of your Texas friends, I say thanks for the invite. I have always maintained how interesting it is, meeting up with Riders on the Roads, anywhere, anytime. I have said many times, one doesnt know ‘‘who’’ is under that Helmet. I have met Lawyers, Doctors, plumbers, truck drivers, Office workers,Canadians, contstruction guys, nerds, (you name 'em) out on the road, riding and enjoying just as much as me. Above, you say you have some bit of trouble ''reading my stuff' around there? BUT, then you say, maybe after getting tight, from drinking a six pack of beer, you might actually enjoy chatting with me around the campfire under the Canadian moonlight and bright Stars, eh? (big chuckle here, wink) Now, Don, if you simply mean my WebTv type quoting, and the effect it has on your computer interpretating it's style, and manner'isms I say, okay, that is reasonable. BUT, Mate, If, you mean ''Me'', yes, my personal manner of phrasing and Style of expressing my self, then I Take Issue. Donald, I mention this, because once you gave me a left handed compliment, by saying, ‘‘Bjay, I want to say, how coherent your stuff is here lately’’ !! Well, Don Binns, I took that as a little bit of a compliment, but being coherent, or incoherent, has nothing absolutely to do with my Using a WebTV, instead of a real computer, DOES IT? See how that sounded to me, sir? Otherwise, I'm okay. I enjoy reading your 'coherent' Stuff on TxMoto, and you are welcome here, anytime. Remember if all were like you, or me, it would be boring around here. <bjay> 'Ya'll take care'' --BJAY--
‘‘Don,My weekends are filled, the weather is good and the riding is great! How 'bout you? Don't take offense BJ, all I was saying is you have a unique writing style that I suspect mirrors your speaking style and if it does I am sure you have more than a few entertaining stories to tell. I am sure your WebTv apparatus mucks things up for you in this forum, after all it does for every one else who tries to use one. -- Don RCOS# 7 2000 - Yamaha Venture Millenium Edition http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/radium1.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/banff.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/kananaskis.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/walkercalgary.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/calgarybrowning.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/venture.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/gem.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/highwood.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/reynolds.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/sask.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/osoyoos.htm

Worth, they probably know how to get here. Btw, there is lodging in the area, if they want to make a weekend of it.
Not knowing all the details I have seen others struggle to make WebTv work in these newsgroups. BJ accomplished thatv task about as well as anyone I have seen, but it is still an awkward interface. -- Don RCOS# 7 2000 - Yamaha Venture Millenium Edition http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/radium1.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/banff.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/kananaskis.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/walkercalgary.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/calgarybrowning.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/venture.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/gem.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/highwood.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/reynolds.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/sask.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/dbinns/osoyoos.htm
‘‘Beemer writes’’ ‘‘bjay, webtv posts in "quoted printable" which make it nearly impossible to reply to with the ">" character? ‘‘Beemer, I just started putting the the above character on each side of Bjay just lately. I usually use the character ( this) on each side. Thanks for pointing that out. usually Albert keeps me informed of my when I get on a kick of using additional characters, but Albert has been so busy with Brian, he hasnet responded to me that much. I think, I've established a nickels worth of credibility, to 4 or 5 friendlies in here. They must think I've got something to say, and they manage to do the task, and I appreciate it, very much! I wanna extend a compliment to Bill & Brian, atleast, they have shown me the courtesy of not ever riding me about my webtv, and the manner of my style of quoting.. (footnote, Don, you might wanna get you a beer, before reading my incoherent stuff below) (wink) But it does bother me, when a guy like you, from another country, complains about my style of expression. When, you must at times suffer from dyspeptic,(wink). because you get your hart before your corse,(wink). If you think, that folks down here in Texas are impressed by some of your .50 cent words, then you have one more thank comin'. (chuckling) Fellas like you and some others, must take a good while, looking in their dictionarys, to come up with them store bought, impressive words. I hope this is country coherant.
