Well, no further work was carried out on the GSX600F POS this weekend
due to child/bollard interface previously mentioned.
Anyhow, I'm now wondering if it's worthwhile buying a 750 motor and
rebuilding it or stripping the 600 motor and getting it up to 750 spec.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how much work is required if I decide
    to upgrade the 600 motor?

    Cheers!

Might be worth checking if you can just stick a 750 head on the 600 lump.
I'm pretty sure you can upgrade 600 Bandits this way.

You don't want to swap just the head..
