What tends to happen is that you sprinkle your chosen aggregate into the
fisrt coat of paint whilst still wet. When it is dry you broom off the
surplus then apply a further coat to seal in the grippy stuff already stuck
    in the first coat.

You can mix stuff in with the paint in the can, but it will sink, so copious
amounts of stirring are required as you apply, and the result can be patchy.

Dunno about sharp sand mind ewe, the norm would be stuff called Flintag or
alternatively kiln dried sand (you can get this in 25 kg bags from Sika
Flooring Products, but it is quite dear, about £14 a bag IIRC).

Heavens man, it's illogical prejudice what do you expect???

The root of the prejudice started (if you want honesty) was an interview
he did for R4's Today programme where he wittered on about how badly
designed the british plug was- he interviewed various people 'on the
street' and got them to agree "it's so confusing wiring a plug".

I've also seen and heard plenty since that confirms my suspicion that
    he's a ****.

And you *think* that Branson's any cleaner?
My perception is he's at least close to immoral but I realise I'm
prejudiced; I see no reason to correct that though.

The tin says to dilute the first coat with 10pc water. So I'll do that.
    Erm... dunno.

I was reading a little about Moore the other day, then I remember that's
    he's gone.

I must admit that I own a few pairs and I can indeed
vouch for this. It's the same argument as with helmets
that Lozzo so eloquently put earlier - you may pay
10 quid a pair but they've lasted at least 6 years
so far and still look relatively new.

You should have seen the way I slapped the PVA around the garage just
now. Poetry in motion, it was.

Nah, I just think that the Eagle logo and Barca colour scheme will never
rank among Malcolm Allison's more significant achievements.

  19. One of Jane's friends is his private secretary and has been for years.
Apparently RB is a total workaholic and expects everyone around him to
be the same. As his long term secretary she got used to it but only
noticed it when she goes on holiday. RB has to have two secretaries to
    replace her during the period.
