I spent a few hours today working on the bike. I managed to give it a
slight bath to knock off the majority of the dirt. I even found a dirt
dobbers nest in the swingarm section. I broke out the polish and
started working on getting some of the stains out of the paint in the
tank and I worked a little on the top fairing section to get the
    watermarks polished out.

A couple more good baths and some more scrubbing and the paint might
    come back to life.

There is some rotting in the rear tire where it's almost cracked
through. The tires were getting within about 1,000 to 2,000 miles of
replacement, so I can't really fault Mike for that...although rotting
is caused from sitting in the weather without being cleaned.

The bike still runs rough on the low end. I rode it out this evening
for 10 miles or so, after filling the tank up with fresh gas. I might
need to just get the carbs cleaned from it sitting up and/or not being
run enough. Something tells me I won't be having Renegade work on this
bike! Any nutfucks like them who don't know how a plastic side panel
attaches to a motorcycle, I sure don't what them working on something
as complicated as a carb. They're still fascinated with how a
motorcycle's small cell battery can go dead without knowing it. To pay
those dumb fucks to clean the carbs on a motorcycle, they'll get so
excited after getting the carbs pulled that they'll not know anything
about how to put them back on. Judging by their expertise, they could
likely think cleaning carbs is taking them to a car wash and hosing
them down. Then again, judging by the condition of the Hurricane, I'm
not too sure any of those assholes around there know anything about
    soap and water.

All anyone can tell they're good for is selling a few bandanas and
maybe a tire every once in a while. As I seem to recall though, when
Buddy went in there with his Harley to buy a tire, that dumb shit
mechanic working for Mike needed Buddy's advice on how to pull the
wheel off the bike. As I recall the tire change took over 3 hours.
