Got round to servicing my Tuono. New oil & filter, new air filter, new
180-section back tyre, balanced throttles[1]. Took it for a brief
shakedown and it was definitely smoother and just nicer. Still not
certain about any improvement from the tyre becuase it was only a few
miles but it *seems* to have made the steering slightly more neutral,
which is good. It's not a bad bike for doing routine servicing at all.

Now I just have to wade through the manual to find out how to turn off
the 'Service' annunciator in the dash.

[1] I cheated on this: just stuck on a pair of vac gauges and twiddled
the two air screws. The proper procedure seems to involve iterative
twiddling of air screws, throttle screws, taking CO readings, etc. and
my CO meter really isn't up to it. Also, ICBA.

Assuming it's the same as the RSV then my friendly mechanic told me ... and
    I've gone and forgotten.

Give me a shout tomorrow if you haven't sussed it and I'll give him a bell
    on your behalf.

Ta, but I found it. press & hold 'Lap' & 'R'.

I still don't know how to drive all the instrument functions: it's
virtually needs an entire manual itself. I can't even find 'record' or
    'play'.
