I'm sure I'm not the only one on UKRM to suffer with incontinent
vehicles, or the only one to have had little mishaps whilst servicing
bikes / cars on their drive.

My tarmac drive was looking pretty awful, with several oil stains on it
    - due to carelessness on my part and a leaking Sillyspeed actuator on
K's Alfa (now fixed under warranty).

I bought 3 tins of this stuff (12 quid each) and spent a couple of hours
    rollering my drive with it.

I now have a nice black drive, with no sign of stains - it's supposedly
oil resistant, too, so I shouldn't suffer badly from accidents in the
    future.

    Heh.

Must less pikey than the alternative of faded grey tarmac with dark
    patches.

My drive suffers more from sidestand indentation syndrome, than from
    patches.

The garage floor, on the other hand ...

I'm in the process of painting my garage floor with
    http://www.screwfix.com/prods/14817/Paint/Floor-Paints/No-Nonsense-Floor
    -Paint-2-5Ltr-Grey

Gets pretty good reviews & it's way cheaper than the other garage floor
paints I've seen. I've found the coverage claim close to accurate as
well despite what the comments say. My floor's 53sqm & I did just over
half with the first tin, thinned with 10% white spirit.

Or a true Pikey Skim job, where two tons are supposed to be laid, but only 2
    kilo's *actually* gets laid. [1]

What colours does it come in?

    How much per 25l?

So the advantage in speaking to you first would have been what? - given
that I've spent £36 so far and still have around 2/3 of a can left.

Hasn't put a foot wrong - MOT passed with no advisories, servicing cheap
    as chips, running mid-30s MPG.

Which bit of this did you have problems with?

  16. How bored are people that they post about painting their garage floors,
    ffs ;-)

I'm more surprised that people actually think about painting their
garage floors, let alone post about it.

I've got hundreds of things I want to do before I'm so old I feel the
need to paint my garage floor and I'm starting to think that I'm in a
    minority.

Consider the response to my post that a couple of us are going to
Morocco to thrash bikes around the desert. I've lost count of the
number of times that people have posted on here about riding to
Morocco but how many have said they'll come along ? It's not as if
it's an obligation to enter the fucking race, just go for the ride and
    take the piss.

It's a bad day when someone would prefer to think about painting their
garage floor than riding their bike to Africa.

  18. If enough people expressed interest and were willing to join in/help
their[1] could even be a nice big transit van seating 6 or so and able
to carry four or more bikes with spares.

    [1] Just for you, dtd.

We have this nasty sort of concrete slab with pebbles in it. One of the
slabs has dropped a bit, the other is cracked.

I'd like it replaced but I have a nasty feeling it's about 18" thick,
and I'd rather move somewhere less pikey, TBH.
