Yes, you guys can stop laughing now.

I've increased my powers - not only do I have a leaky shower, I also
have done the Pan in by the looks of it.

Ever since we came back from Belgium there's been a rattle from the
engine and further investigation today revealed rather more oil in the
airbox than usual, and one oily plug. Oh, and it doesn't want to idle
that well either and it started using oil (which it's never done
    before).

Diagnosis suggests that something's slighlty less than healthy on
    cylinder no 1...

Anyway, any ideas how much a '99 Pan, 81k on the clock, with the
problems above would fetch? Anybody interested?

Oh, and I'd guess I need another sporty/toury thing. Not sure if I
want another Pan, I was looking at a VFR 750 but the seating position
is a bit too sporty for this old man's knees.

Other current ideas are probably another BMW...

Unless someone here has a decent Yamaha GTS with luggage for sale...

How the ****** do you manage it?
Fourpence. And that's my final offer. Break it on Ebay, YKIMS.
I've got one, but I'm fond of it, so I'm not inflicting you on it.

It'd probably be useful as a bucketocrete security device. So remember
when listing it on fleabay to put it under both motorcycle and home
    security sections.

Buggered if I know, but other evidence suggests that the folks who
maintained it where better at stamping the book than following the
    BoL.
Well, I *had* hoped for a tad more...
s/Break/Stick/ - no time or space to break it.
Heh. How do you find it for medium to long trips? There's a reasonable
mileage on for sale at the moment and I'm kinda tempted.

Either that or I'll just get something a tad more agricultural again.

S'lovely. Seat's a bit hard[1], other than that it's very comfy. If you
want to come and have a play on it then give me a shout.

There will be a small ceremony first involving you standing in a chalk
circle on my garage floor, but nothing to worry about.

[1] I'll get a Corbin at some point.

I may take you up on that offer...
Do I need to supply my own black^Woily candles?
    I can thoroughly recommend them...

    You've got my number.
No thanks, I'll use my own. I don't want the garage to burn down.
