There will be nine of us going from Dover to Calias
as early as poss in the morning of the 1st July, and
hopefully the same nine coming back around late
afternoon on the 3rd July, anyone here got any
idea's how to get a cheap price on the ferry prices?

Mates working for them, anything to help a poor
old biker save a few bob.

    Thanks
    Alan

Use speedferries.com. Will land in Boulogne-sur-mer, but that's about an
    hours ride south of Calais...

A far nicer place to land, than either Calais or Dunkerque, IME.

That, and Speed Ferries deserve the business, for forcing the rest to adopt
    better pricing policies.

They're actually IMO very good. Good luck to 'em!

  5. Use a P&O rally booking for 10 people. Compare that to all the offers
available by ringing them up. Make sure you interrogate them well. 9 of us
did Portsmouth Le havre for 35 quid each return in April.

I've just checked the P&O site and its 40 quid 6am return 5 pm.

Doing the same dates and times myself with two mates, we are going with
www.speedferries.com for £38 return. Best deal around I recon, only pain is
the crossing is at 07:45 which means leaving Hitchin early but it does mean
a good days riding ' though.

www.ferrysavers.co.uk has it for £37.50 so enough extra change for a bag of
    crisps....

Including repairing punctures, I take it

But well worth giving them your business, they have broken the
stranglehold the other ferries have, despite the dirty tricks.

Ferrysavers it was, online booking was £37, called them and spoke
to a sexy sounding lady and got it for £30.

    Sorted.
