True. They certainly throw a little doubt on Mr Darwin's little
theory.

 

It was actually tweaked back up to the original 67bhp. The earlier K
series bikes got slower and slower. The K7 uses the F1 engine, which
(incidentally) has numerous gearbox mods.

It's the worst model of Honda CB750 made, though.

Indeed not. The tank and side panels were carried over to the F2, but
the silly single front disc was as crap as it was on the earlier Ks.

And the rear disc was (a) bigger and (b) opposed piston!

The handling was the worst thing. They steepened the steering head angle
to make it steer quicker. Christ, did it wobble. A bloke I knew at Avon
Tyres called it the "Honda wander".

And they geared it down for better acceleration, but it was really too
low geared and drank fuel like you wouldn't believe. A K series gearbox
sprocket cured that.

I absolutely hated the one I had, more than 20 years ago.

 

I had an F2 (I think), and I *hated* that. **** knows what I'd have made
of the F1.
