Whew.. there wasn't a big turnout, but everyone who showed up sure were wired .. Can't ask for better than that.. Quite a variety of discussions during the meeting, but the EPA regulations that are hitting us all, was the main topic of interest.. Seems as though there's been a pretty desperate reaction to the reality of the regulations being enforced, now.. There have been a lot of calls, some of them from out of state about these regulations.. The most often questions about it, are "what are you guys going to do about this"? The most striking thing that occurs to me, when I'm asked that question, is.. "We could have done something about it.. three years ago, when we first learned of it and made it public".. The response from the public.. was "it'll never happen in the good ol' US of A".. Well.. folks.. far and wide ... it is happenin'.. all over the US of A.. NOW.. That horse is out of the barn.. it's a little late to get all upset.. Be that as it may.. there is still a lot that we can all do, as motorcycle enthusiasts.. The EPA regulations aren't the only issues that are facing the motorcyling community.. there are several other issues that are very important to us.. In Texas.. there are only two advocacy groups that are standing between us and that legislation that will impose severe consequences for us all.. Regards.. Bill Walker Irving
