    I use mine turned off for an accurate, remote[1], water jet, only
    turning it on _very _ carefully if there's a bit of encrustation.

    [1] As in, the nozzle is two feet away from me. This means I never
    have to get my hands wet[2], which is nice.
    [2] OK, it goes like this: spray entire bike with water; use garden
    spray with diluted car shampoo to spray bike; get soft brush (form a
    dustpan combi) and foam this gently up; rinse off with jet washer
    nozzle. Simple, it is.
