Pleased to find I have a ride at this meeting.
Bugatti Owners Club, Classic, Members and Motorcycles day at Prescott
hill climb, Gotherington. 5 miles from Cheltenham.

First time at this hill on the Tart so it will be interesting to see if
can get anywhere near my best Nordwest and Husky 610 times.

NHCA championship round, so the fast boys on their singles will be
there, plus an eclectic mix of four wheelers including presumably some
    Bugs.

Unfortunately no passes available as it is a bit of a steep entry fee
    for spectators.

    Hmmm. Thanks for the warning!

Have you been there before? If you see a jodphur-clad brunette, wave.
If I've still got a horse under me, I might be able to wave back - if
I haven't, would you give us a lift back to the village?

Christ, my get a glasses upgrade, I scanned that as Prescott Climb
Sunday. The thought of a bunch of wizened mountainers climbing ol' 2
jags fair gave me the shivvers, won't sleep a wink now.

Oh yes - now and then for the last twenty five years or so.

I am always a good chap and get there the official way, rather than
through Gotherington village, and my tow car is sooo quiet.

Otherwise this might be an offer hard to refuse.

There's an official way? You'd never know that from the traffic on one
    of the big days!
    :~)

Actually, aside from the Peugeot Owners Club (and some of the
"audience") the Prescott lot tend to be very thoughtful people. It's
rather nice riding when there's so many olde vehicles about,
especially when the steam train is running as well. "Exciting£ but
    nice.

Now that you come to mention it, the amount of grey hair revealed when
helmets are removed in a NHCA paddock is statistically significant.
Having said that, one or two of the slightly less wizzened ones than me
can still press on a bit.

In any case, as WUN so perceptively pointed out, there are other
divertissements to be possibly enjoyed. Posh totty quotient v. high at
Prescott and perhaps a few might be on the look out for an eligible
    bachelor like Champ.

As Brownz said, it is a very pleasant venue. An interesting ambience,
particularly if the weather is good and the hampers and champers brigade
are in evidence, that was once described in MCS as a cross between
watching test match cricket and F1.

I follow the event signing from the M5 at Ashchurch, although there is a
    shorter way.
We biker boys are very considerate, naturally, but beware that if you
are out on horseback early in the morning you could meet a somewhat
rorty Harley that is ridden to meetings.

Just as well really. Not a scintillating performance. Pissing down when
we arrived and a lot of track still wet for first practice. The first
time I have actually competed on the Voxan in anything other than dry
conditions. Dried up by the last run, but still dampish through the
esses. At least I managed to break the complete duffers 60 second
barrier (58.16) and was within 2 tenths of my Nordie time two years ago.
Peeved though not to improve on the last run.

Prescott is generally agreed to be the most 'technical' hill. The Tart
never gets out of second and Ettore's bend is an absolute bugger on a
    lardy shopping bike.

Oh, well my favourite hill next Saturday - Loton Park.
