  12. I know. I've been in the habit of working out authors' ages when they
    wrote a book I'm reading. By their early 50s, most of them were well
    into their stride and churning them out. I occasionally find the odd one
    who didn't start writing until their 50s and thereby find some solace.

    Buggerit, I should have started my scribblings years ago.
