"Praise the Lawd^H^H^H^H Duct Tape"

Shamelessly stolen from somewhere else:

I am sure many in this parish have applied similar engineering
solutions in their bikes.

Howard Lees. That certainly makes my tape-and-bungee repair to the
BMW's pillion footpeg on the French Run look horribly amateurish.

 

"Duct tape is like the Force: It has a light side and a dark side, and
holds the Universe together" Obi wan Kenobi, allegedly.

 

The Mythbusters made a cannon out of Duct tape, fired real cannon
balls too. They also made a sailing boat skinned with duct tape and
IIRC duct tape sails, although I could be wrong on that point.

 

We taped up the team ukrm race bike on several occasions and Gyp was
often heard to refer to hole saws as 'Bonwicks' after the neat little
hole I wore in the fairing throwing the bike along on its side at
Pembrey.

 

I used it on a land rover that had split a hose, even going hammer &
tongs off roaf, it did not leak

 

The irony is that the plane belongs to a hunter (see the gun box on the
side of the cabin).
