"Powerlet" 12v plugs in aus?

The Duke ST range has a 12v power adaptor, which I thought was pretty
cool - until I tried to plug something in it :)

It looks like a mini cigarette adaptor, and with a little bit of hunting
    around, I found these guys:

    http://www.powerletproducts.com/products.html

It appears Ducati and BMW use the same plug. It looks like "powerlet"
is their brand name, but I can't see any reference to the generic name
    of the plug/connector.

Does anyone have any more information on this, and any idea who in Aus
(and maybe even Melb :) would carry anything like it?

Next stop moto-one I guess - they are a duke and BM dealer, but I doubt
they will have a selection like "powerlet" have.

Also, they tell me, some brand of tractor uses them.

    From the Powerlet FAQ:

    | It's two tired.

I reckon it's worth buying one of theirs just for that joke :)

I've since found out the "official" name of the plug is an DIN ISO 4165.
I'd still like to know where I could get one though :)

  5. Without looking at the url you've posted (I'm reading offline), if the
plug is anything like the Red Baron has, it's a Hella 2 pole plug. Get
'em from SuperCheap, Autobarn, AutoPro and any number of other stores. I
like them, as they don't pull out as easily as cigarette lighter plugs.

It is a DIN standard connector. Made by various manufactures. You can
even get versoins that will plug into both the car type and this type.
Farrnel has them ... do a www.farnell.com And the tractor brand is John
    Deer (sp?)

The main things about them ... they are smaller than the car type. They
dont rust like the car type.
