Thought I'd take the bike out for a short, sharp shock. Apparently it's warm enough to tempt out the power ranger wannabees. Deary me. I can only presume that the winter break has removed whatever knowledge they had. Fast dry roads, fewer traffic than one might expect and some ged-awful positioning, lines and overtaking decisions than I've seen in a long time. I would estimate about 1/2 doz of the total bikes I saw doing anything remotely sensible. Strangely two of them were expertly driven Hardley Abelsons and not Road Captain vest between them. I just assume they'll keep going 'til they run out of fuel. Still, just finishing Leffe #2, life is good.
