Thought I'd take the bike out for a short, sharp shock. Apparently it's
warm enough to tempt out the power ranger wannabees. Deary me.
I can only presume that the winter break has removed whatever knowledge
    they had.
Fast dry roads, fewer traffic than one might expect and some ged-awful
positioning, lines and overtaking decisions than I've seen in a long
time. I would estimate about 1/2 doz of the total bikes I saw doing
anything remotely sensible. Strangely two of them were expertly driven
Hardley Abelsons and not Road Captain vest between them. I just assume
they'll keep going 'til they run out of fuel.

Still, just finishing Leffe #2, life is good.

I've had the might K1100 out today but returned after 30 minutes to
resume the battle with a defective brake light switch.

  3. They wear vests?[1]

That is news to me. I thought the glow from their arse was indication
    enough.

[1] A little questionette like. If, for example, I were to have a friend
and he wanted to purchase such a thing, where would the panel suggest he
    look?

I've been asleep, was the rear? The only one I've ever had a problem
with is the front and a new one solved that.

Maplin have electrical contact grease (water repellant) dunno whether that'd
    do any good.

You've got to be good at something, and I can think of a lot of worse
things to be thought to be good at...

  11. Give these people a call or visit a HD dealership?

    http://www.icenichapter.co.uk/

A Google search for road captain vest put them fairly near the top of
    the list.

It's the front one and I know I'll end up changing it eventually.

If you mean those fluorescent yellow vests that they use on building
sites I've probably got one going spare somewhere round here.

No bugger I hand them out to seems to want to wear them....

  17. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Scraggy
As did I. I went for a gentle trundle on the Norton for a change. Very
pleasant it was too. And it does make a lovely noise.

Shame I'm going to have to sell it soon.

  18. Not simply that. I was expecting one with the legend "Demigod" or
    something on the back.

There was a little hatchback in a turning just up from me all done up in a
    power ranger stylee.

Not seen it for about a week - I think someone nicked it.
