Obviously this is more appropriate for UKRM but I don't have time to read
that any more and anyway, those with any knowledge worth a **** read
    Classic.

Modern sprotbike wheels. Is expoy powder coating with the subsequent heat
treatment OK? Chap in Belfast who paints wheels told me the heat side was a
nono. Vested interest obviously and IME painted wheels bleach out when
attacked by strong cleaning chemicals and it flakes on the rim during tyre
changes. Have had K100 wheels PC'd in the past but then again they are cast
neutronium and not super light ally/magnesium.

Similar question about ally beam frames. I'd quite like the Gixxer thou
frame PC'd too and I wonder just how much heat is used and for how long.

Even if you don't, you can always put the old ones back in.
