Possible to create own trike?

    I have been wishing for a motorcycle for a long time but the cost has
    kept me back. I have a garage and like to fabricate things with my
    welder, torch and tubing. I have always dreamed of building my own
    frame and everything for a v8 trike maybe with an automatic
    tranmission and car rear end.

    Is this totally out of reach to do totally by myself?

    I have seen a similar creation at a local bike show, a two wheeler with V8
    power, every single part on it was either scrounged or hand made from
    things like gas pipe and angle iron. It was pretty cool looking in a post
    industrial way, but I dunno about riding it. Anyway go for it, but don't
    spend a lot of money.....
