COULD POLITICAL CORRECTNESS STRIP BRITAIN'S SWANS OF ALL DIGNITY?

  4. I rather liked this one from the David Blunkett Policy Maker page -

"Deport the BBC to Guantanamo Bay, and then detain them indefinitely
under the Terrorism Act. And charge them for it."

I'm not sure if the Blunkett Policy Maker (link from that page) is
making it up or actually quoting him.

I have to withold that information, as it may incriminate the guilty.
He may well tell you himself.

    Well. Now.

It was either alt.sex.goats, or uk.media.radio.archers. One of the two.

    <thread hijack>

... for possibly leaving a little black rubber line outside
    Eaton Place last evening ...

As I was in mid-three point turn and across the road, chappie in a
black Golf came hurling round the corner, so rather than being the T
in the bone, I gave it loud pedal, full lock and stepped off the
clutch. A bit hastily, I admit.

They do that here. The blind bend and the pinch point seem to be a
challenge to their masculinity. I usually leave them to sort it out
    themselves.

    I was in the car.
I intended to hoof the throttle and slip the clutch for maximum
acceleration, but stepped off the clutch quicker than expected - new
    boots, see?
The take-off was harsh. I pride myself on smoothness of driving and
that was not a good example, no matter how effective.
