    The radiator is on order.

This service manual says I should run the engine with the filler cap off
till the bubbles stop appearing.... necessitating removal of the fuel
tank. That's an arse... Also, the section on "removal of fuel tank" talks
about pulling the hoses off the fuel tap in really quite short order.

I'm a bit confused about the concept of removing the tank and *then*
running the engine, am I supposed to have a whole workshop with a useful
header tank to use for short runs?

Should I hand this over to a greasy man to do, or is the refill of
coolant not as much as a strife as this manual implies? On the car I've
always just lobbed a ton of liquid in the top end. (mind you, that's
    broken)

I'm on about your inability to read a question. Are you in sales? You should
be if you're not. The poor girl(1) is asking a question about saving money
not spending what she can't afford.

    (1) It's also obvious that you're trying to grease your way into her
    knickers.

Surely advising her that buying a radiator from a breakers is a false
economy and suggesting that the pattern parts from mad4bikes is, in
the long term, a better solution is a good answer to the question.

What would you advise Cat to do?

I read the question, I understood exactly what the 'poor girl' is after
and suggested a suitable solution. Rads from broken bikes are rarely
any good and often not much cheaper than a new pattern replacement.

If you had any experience of rebuilding damaged motorcycles properly,
which I have lots of, you'd have typed the same post as I did.

For the record, Im one of the best salesmen you're ever likely to come
across, but I'm good because I'm honest.

  10. What's up? I've not been following the news. I can guess but it wouldn't
be the first time I'd done a ****-up
