Starts ok, but once warmed up tends to stall when pulling up at traffic
lights. Anyone know what I should be looking at?

    Choke? Does it operate correctly?

Dragging clutch? Does it still stall if it's clicked into neutral before
    coming to a stop?

Incorrect idle adjustment? After stalling, does it restart and tick-over
    as expected?

  4. 3 to 4 hopefully, but they might let you out after 2 for good behaviour.

Well, you get the prize for most humorous response, if not actually most
    helpful!

    Seems to.
Nope, that seems to be ok, at least once it's warm.
Yep. I'll probably just up the idle speed to cover the problem up. Not
my bike btw for all you smart alecs.

    Gunk in the idle jet?

My solution is to pull the carb, remove every brass insert in sight
and blow compressed air through every opening.

ps are the innards of the gas tank rusty?

Hmmm, bike had stood for around a year, tank got topped up then taken
down to reserve. Might be the only way to go, but I hate taking carbs
    apart :(
