  2. Perhaps if Gibber was racing against anybody else, yes... but not
    against the Master.

Fastest and lap record on the last lap and on a inferior bike with worn
    tyres.

The honda army [cup] should be ashamed they cannot make any sort of
attack with the easily best and most popular bike in the field.I am
glad Rossi is not on a honda it would be so boring....

45th win only 9 behind doohan and 37 point Championship lead.

I think his point was that Sete managed to set fastest laps and lap
records during the middle of the race when his tires were in top
condition, but Rossi then blew away that new lap record on the last lap
of the race, when his tires were at their worst.

I don't think theres any doubt that Setes poor start and first few laps
meant he had to use up more of his tire to get to the front group, but
Rossis last lap performance clearly exceeded anything Sete managed
    during the race.
    Heh - says Biggus/Birdman!

At then end of the second last lap they would have travelled the same
distance on their tyres. But Rossi started with a hard rear tyre, Gibernau
    with a medium.

Apparently Rossi was running a harder compound rear tyre so it lasted
    the distance better then Sete's.

Neither of them mentioned tyre wear - they mentioned mistakes
