Yes. But there are exceptions. The records I listened to as a
teenager, especially from around 14 to 17, seem to be indelibly burned
into my memory. Perhaps because I played them so often. So, Slade,
mid/late 70s Pink Floyd, Deep Purple - it's all still there.

 

One of my all-time favourites from that period was "Journey" by Duncan
Browne, but it was in the charts in 1972, so might have been a bit early for
you. Extraordinary guitar playing on it.

Funnily enough, it has that air about it. I have the original on 7"
vinyl somewhere (B-side to "Streets Of London", the old Ralph McTell
chestnut done in League style), but it just doesn't have the feel about
it. I put it down to the classic punk low production quality.
