Weymouth is rather nice in a 'nothing like the Blackpool / Bognor /
Skegness I expected' sort of way. But Monkey World is an expensive heap of
crap, a zoo masquerading as some sort of animal rescue centre. I had to
drag two toddlers around it this summer, so my daughter's first ever two-
word conjunction was 'Monkey's Bottom', on account of some ropey chimp
hanging its piles right in front of her face.

My son's first full sentence was "did you spill my pint?". It took weeks
of coaching him to say it and he finally let rip with it in front of his
very posh grandmother. I was not flavour of the month.

Anyone human being who suffers from that particular affliction should go

That's a bit ironic coming from one who claims not to be able to
recall lyrics. However, in this case, I bet the tune sprang straight
out at you (as it did me) and that you sang the following line in your
head, complete with musical accompaniment (or at least, as close to
music as Slade ever got) without a second's hesitation.

What next? Ace and Eddie, IWT.

Oh yeah. I knew I recognised it but couldn't be arsed to think about
it - I'm astonished, however, that it's you that's pointing their
provenance - you don't _do_ lyrics, remember?
