So, sub zero temperatures on a motorbike and a bicycle. How do they perform? Very well. The basic stick it over your head means it ruffs up under the lid, and the front/back flaps cover zips. On a bicycle, you can pull it over your head to keep your ears warm, then pull it down as you get warmer. The material is warm and comfy, mine is of course black as I eschew all that patterned shit. Not washed one yet, so cant say anything on that. Hat mode seems a bit pointless, but hey, you might want to pose. So, for a tenner, I'd say worth it. Better than a scarf, better than a headover. Thats my tuppence worth, future beers from pancho appreciaters appreciated.
